Le Pôle Intégration d'Yverdon-les-Bains
Ville multiculturelle, Yverdon-les-Bains dispose depuis 2010 d'une politique d'intégration mise en œuvre au sein du Service jeunesse et cohésion par le Pôle Intégration. Ses objectifs sont basés sur les domaines d'action définis par la Confédération et les cantons en matière d'encouragement à l'intégration : information et conseil ; formation et travail ; compréhension et intégration sociale. Cette politique offre un accueil personnalisé aux nouveaux arrivants, encourage l'engagement citoyen des immigrés par la participation civile et politique, renforce les liens sociaux sans a priori culturel, reconnaît la diversité et favorise la compréhension mutuelle entre les habitants de la cité, anciens et nouveaux.

Semaine d'actions contre le racisme 2019
Dans le cadre de la Semaine d'actions contre le racisme, le Service jeunesse et cohésion sociale propose différentes actions d'information et de sensibilisation à la population yverdonnoise. Cette année la thématique concerne les jeunes face aux discriminations. Plusieurs événements vous sont offerts, venez jeter un coup d'œil au programme.
INTEGRATION
It is important for our city to be a motor in the region, in terms of integration. In these pages we make available information on subjects connected to integration to enable a permanent public debate. Migration is a complex process and requests a shared definition of the word integration, here is the one we offer (LIEPR, art.3): “Any action aming at promoting equity of chances to access social benefits, economic resources and cultural life, the involvement of foreigners to the public life and the mutual understanding between Swiss citizens and foreigners.”
Foreigners are not considered as minorities to integrate, but as important members of the society. Thanks to their resources may they be social cultural or economic, they contribute to the prosperity of the country. At the same time, the migrants need to know the rules of the territory on which they are. Integration can be understood as an investment for the future of the society.

É importante para a nossa cidade ser um motor da integração na região. Os movimentos migratórios são processos complexos e pedem uma definição comum da integração, eis a que propomos: (LIEPR, art.3) “Qualquer acção que visa promover a igualdade de oportunidades de acesso às prestações sociais, os recursos económicos e a vida cultural, a participação dos estrangeiros na vida pública e a compreensão mútua entre Suíços e estrangeiros.»
Os estrangeiros não são considerados como minorias a integrar mas como parte integrante da sociedade. Graças aos seus recursos tanto sociais como culturais e económicos, contribuem para a prosperidade do país. No mesmo tempo, o emigrante deve conhecer as regras do território sobre o qual se encontra. A integração compreende-se como um investimento no futuro da sociedade.
